Molds listed below will usually be ready to ship to you in 7 to 14 days. Designed from the ground up, the Croaker is modeled after a boat hull. The front rides very high providing an almost instantaneous pop to the top. The overly round belly prevents roll. If it does somehow get upside down all you have to do is stop your retrieve and it will roll back over. The "rear" of the Croaker models a twin pad design, with a concave section to trap air and increase water agitation while retrieved.

The rear also has an even lower section that acts like a rudder, making it run straight, but also creates what would best be described as a subtle chine walk. Overall it produces a true running bait with unique water agitation and sound. Pour whatever color belly you want, stopping below the injection gate.

Let the plastic firm slightly, close, clamp and slowly inject your top color as normal. For a super realistic feel use a medium-soft plastic and then quickly dip just the body in a hard plastic.

I believe pouring it this way makes it feel so real Bass just won't let go. This is not a tall tale, and may be true of all frogs not just ours, but pouring it this way, I have literally caught fish on this frog and never put a hook in them. This is a 6 cavity belly mold for the 4" Caney Creek Croaker.

To achieve optimum results pour the belly in the Croaker Mold and then inject the Croaker. Alternatively, to help speed up production you can use the belly mold to make your Croaker bellies and then place them in the Croaker mold and inject them.

The less time you wait between pouring the bellies and injecting the Croakers the better. Toss it around the veggies and buzz it in, or let it fall and swim it in. You could catch the fish of a lifetime at any point. And when you do hook-up, there is absolutely no doubt. Bass hit this thing like a sledgehammer and won't let go.

Mold Type. Size inches. Croaker Frog. Croaker - Pro Series. Croaker Belly Mold.ICOMold has always used steel material for our plastic injection molds. Many of our competitors, on the other hand, make their molds out of aluminum. There are several advantages of using steel over aluminum, which we will explain here. Ability to Make Complex Parts: A part design can be, in some cases, too complex to be injection molded with an aluminum mold. A steel mold will be required due to the complexity of the part design.

This is not unique to ICOMold — this is a universal limitation that all mold makers face. Surface Finish Options: Steel molds offer more options when it comes to part surface finishes.

The number of surface finishes possible with an aluminum mold is limited, and custom finishes are not possible as they are with steel molds. The difference in available surface finishes based on mold material affects all mold makers, not just ICOMold. Ease of Design Modifications: Mold modifications due to part design changes are limited on aluminum molds compared to steel. For one thing, a steel mold can be modified by welding.

Therefore, if there is a good chance that your part may be undergoing design revisions that will require mold modifications, a steel mold can better accommodate that. Less Flash: Because steel is harder, there is less chance for flash on the part as there is with using a softer aluminum mold. Durability: While aluminum molds will hold up for smaller part runs, steel molds are more durable. Our steel production molds carry a lifetime warranty — if your mold ever requires any repairs, we will cover the cost of repairs, or even replacement, for the entire time we are producing your parts for you.
